Indianapolis Wing Chun Kuen

A Grassroots Project

ABOUT ME

My name is Clint and I started training in Wing Chun in February 1999 while attending Purdue University. I now live in Fishers, Indiana.

I was a bouncer for three years while I was in West Lafayette and also did it for about one year in downtown Indianapolis, until I had to get a "real job".

My sifu has returned to doing private security work and contract work overseas for the D.O.D., but some of his students still get together and train every Tuesday and Thursday in Lafayette. I travel to Lafayette 1-2 times a week to train with them, but the gas prices are making that hard to do on a regular basis.

What I would like to do is start something similar here in the Indianapolis area.

About my Wing Chun training

As stated above, I have trained in Wing Chun since 1999. The instruction I received is in the Yip Man lineage.

I have learned the entire system which consists of all three open-hand forms, the wooden dummy, the long pole and the swords. I am, of course, still trying to master these forms and their applications!

My lineage is traced from Yip Man as follows:

Yip Man --> Siu Yuk Men --> Chad Williams --> Me
